I got a lot of strollin-around done today, haha. It was quite hot and humid; here comes the summer with heavy foreboding! It is supposed to storm with intense winds later tonight and I can hear the low rumbling of its approach now. 'Scuse me while I go get in a bit of one of my favorite things... [fifteen minutes pass] Of course, I got some low-key rainsk8-cruisin' in after dark right around my apartment. I always get mud on my board so gotta take advantage of the free deck-wash.
I am appreciating this recent period of societal turmoil by going back into myself and nurturing what is most important to me. I have mixed feelings about everything opening back up; it has been pleasant with less cars and less general hubbub everywhere. At the same time I miss visiting my friends, going to my yoga studio, and enjoying other in-person social functions. I will look back fondly on everything that's happened in the past couple of momentous months for a long time!
I have been fortunate enough to have many meaningful phone conversations throughout the past few weeks with close friends, and am keeping an optimistic view towards what may be possible to achieve throughout 2020 and into next year. Have lots of plans for various artistic projects that I hope to complete and/or make a lot of progress on in the coming months — can't wait to say more when they are closer to completion!

I just handed in my first book to Amazon. A little legal mumble jumble tied me up for a few hours.
I was in for a surprise when I found Amazon doesn't really support landscape size when printing paperbacks. It will take a few days for them to "approve" the book. In the meantime it is a 4 day weekend for me. We have been doing online classes up to this point. I have a feeling school will be opened up soon here.
