Back To School Night -- Actifit Report Card: September 10, 2025

There's not much to say about Humpday. It was a grind getting through the school day. The students are starting to get a bit feisty now that the novelty of the new school year has worn off a bit. Then we also held our Back To School Night event for the parents from 5 - 7 pm. The leadership spoke about expectations and logistics, and then each grade team went back to our floor from the main auditorium.

In our grade team breakouts, we all got to introduce ourselves to the parents who stuck around and shared a bit about our content and classes. I always have a blast meeting the parents, as it is so interesting to see how close the apple falls from the tree.

Back To School Night also meant a lot more stairs. I snuck home after school to shave, so that's and extra 8 flights plus two extra trips up and down for the auditorium for the parents added 16 more flights. No wonder I flew past 15K so easily. Hopefully the weekend brings some much needed chill before a big festival to end the summer next weekend. Until next time...
