Harvest Holiday -- Actifit Report Card: October 11 + 12, 2025

Talk about a lazy weekend. Talks of high winds and big rains meant I was up early Saturday morning to cut down our three outdoor plants. I didn't want them to have to endure a big storm, and it was close to harvest time anyway.

I spent the better part of the next hour trimming off as many leaves as I could before laying out the plants to dry and cure before the final trim. It sure is rewarding seeing the plant so nearly its final form.

Sunday morning started with some international football, but in this case, I'm talking about the NFL playing in London. I didn't have the rights to watch this game at home and had to wait until the 4th quarter started at noon before the local pub a block from my apartment finally opened with the satellite service for the game.

Luckily, the Broncos managed to beat the pathetic Jets, but they made it way too close for comfort for a team that played as badly as NY. The Broncos basically got a bye in that one, but you won't hear me complain about the charity. The Broncos looked awful, too!

My step counts also looked pretty awful. I barely left the apartment, and when I did, it was to take our the trash, or walk over to the pub, or have a quick bounce on the patio. The sun didn't pop out once all weekend, and it finally started to get cold enough that you feel it in your bones. I'm not ready for the end of summer. Until next time...
