Massive thunder storm and island out of power

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to share yesterday's report quickly as the island is out of power and we are facing floods from the massive rain and thunder all day.

We are safe fortunately, just a good excuse to go to bed early lol

This was my route yesterday. The bad weather started yesterday just with strong wind and they closed the Arbor so had to do a different route.

To think this is all flooded at the moment... I'll be praying for my island 🙏

Hi, my friend!
An hour later after I posted the power came back.
It was a lightning bolt that struck on a power cable that was enough to turn everything off
A few people lost their houses with the flood and a few damages on the roads and buildings but no deaths...
We had a similar storm 11 years ago and we have a lot of deaths :(
So we are kind of traumatized lol
Fortunately, we were more prepared this time!

The damages to the non living items is very much possible but not to the living beings..
