My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2020
Hi guys and a HAPPY FRIDAY to you!
Work was still busy today, but didn’t feel as hectic as the previous two days did. I’m not sure why that was but was glad for it.
I headed to the local grocer and got a couple things. As I was checking out, the guy running the register did something that left me completely speechless 🙀 He had filled one of the store supplied plastic bags and moved it out of the way. He then proceeded to remove the little plastic pieces that fall off of the bags. However then, when he couldn’t get the bag to open, he pulled his mask down , keeping in mind it was already worn BELOW his nose. He the proceeded to ‘lick’ his fingers and pull the bag apart! I was shocked! Then he continued scanning the rest of my items. I paid and left thinking I’ve got to get to the car and transfer my items to another bag and then throw that one away. I did just that and used LOTS of hand sanitizer. I am not the type of person to complain, but I decided to call the store and talk with a manager. First off, in today’s world, you don’t do this!! The risk to his own health, to me, and to countless others either before, and/or after me was unbelievable!! This was just plain stupid!! The manager even told me that same thing, about how stupid it was of him. I am hoping they did get him straightened out, but I don’t think he will find me in his line again. I found the whole thing completely unacceptable!
After a coffee, we headed out for our hike. It was coolish and a bit cloudy, but rain is in the forecast so it wasn’t a surprise.
Actifit-Lamb hiked as well and decided she liked this particular stretch of ferns in the forest for her photo op today.
She is so photogenic!

Way back in March, I purchased vinyl gloves, which I always wear when I go to the bank, grocery, and hardware, and have extras in the glove compartment. The bank doors are not automatic doors and I do not want to touch the handles with bare hands. But of course, none can take the place of handwashing and sanitizing hands and surfaces. I know and understand what you mean when something presently occurring leaves so speechless... otherwise, I know that you would have said something to the store clerk right there and then, but in your usual kind and gentle manner. Here, at checkout registers, the clerk and customer are separated by plexiglass because social distancing is impossible. Is it the same there? Hehehe... girls will be girls... I agree that those would make a great idea design for dangling earrings! Awww. A'Lamb surely looks so coquettish with her umbrella. I love umbrellas. I have a cute lace umbrella which I got from China Town in San Francisco a year ago.

I was seriously speechless! I didn't call to get him in trouble; I was concerned as he handles all of peoples groceries, the money, and whatnot, and then to lick his fingers? It floored me! Actifit lamb needs more accessories; I'm going to have to work on that for sure, lol! She is, after all, one stylin' lamb!🙀🤗🌸💕😘
