My Actifit Report Card: June 16 2020
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Being Tuesday, my morning was spent with the ladies Bible study. They are considering meeting in person next week but I’m not sure as it would be in a private home. Outdoors would be better than inside, so I may just wait another month or so.
We headed out for a hike in the afternoon. It was supposed to be partly sunny but I haven’t seen the sun yet!
I came across this little snail baby and after taking his picture, I moved him to safety.
Actifit-Lamb has been waiting to go as she took one day off just because and then the rain caused a second off day for her. She is ready to go!! We stopped at one of the benches along the way.
This was her view.
Then she sat back and leaned up against my legs. Look at how she mimicks my crossed legs. @silvertop is the other set of feet.

That's quite a view Actifit-Lamb got to enjoy. No wonder she was so excited to go, I would be too if I had that vista waiting for me to enjoy.
It is pretty cool! We are very blessed to be allowed 24/7 access to these private trails. 99% of the time, we never see another soul when we are up there. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Have a good night!
I am jelly of A'Lamb for being able to see that beautiful part of America. I am really not the wild outdoors type, but I do love the beaches. It must be beautiful up the mountains. The Cali group, a member goes out hiking up the beautiful mountains of California. I wish someday to be on top of a mountain in the future. Have you been to the Grand Canyon? That place is magnificent! God's creation is AWESOME!

Hey @silversaver888! No, I have never been to the Grand Canyon. Maybe some day. I have been down a lava tube in Bend, OR though! Quite the experience! I look around every day and marvel at God's creation and am so blown away with the beauty. We all just need to stop now and again and really see what's before us. Sorry but I am a complete zero about plants...
No worries.....I will tell you. They are Indian Pipes, aka ghost pipes, and a couple of other names similar. They only grow where conditions are right. About 5 years ago, I found the original grouping and since then, they have begun growing in another group very near the first and on another part of the trail. They are considered a parasite fungus and grow where elm trees are nearby. They are so cool when they stand up fully. I never knew what they were and had nicknamed them ghost mushrooms, and that too is one of the names they are known by. I will take a pic when they are fully upright.
