My Actifit Report Card: August 29 2020

Hey everybody! Thanks for stopping by!

The day began with that wonderful and magical elixir.....COFFEE! 🤩☕️☕️☕️

Then, the task was to unload the fridge’s freezer into the new freezer and after cleaning it, then restock with a good variety of what we already have. I was amazed at what I found I had no idea was there as it was buried towards the bottom! It was a good thing to do as now I better know what I need to stock up on.

After that, it was a wee bit of computer time. Then we headed out for a hike.

We got up to the top of the trailhead to find Keith and Lynne busy at work with his track hoe. He had this interesting device on the end of the long arm that pulvarizes a thing you want it to. Boy does it ever! After visiting for a few minutes we headed on up their driveway to see how the work was progressing. So, before I go any further, @jayna, the journal that was missing is in Lynne’s possession as the boxes were allowing water in and the book had gotten wet. A lip was added to the boxes hopefully to fix that problem, but the journal hasn’t been returned to it’s home yet. So it is safe and sound!

This is a picture of part of their mile long driveway.

We headed on up the drive as it’s a beautiful hike and found the glacial boulders that Lynne had talked about that the crew had unearthed.

Then we headed on to a trail we rarely use as it’s off the normal path we take, called the spring trail.

It’s a steady ride trail that’s moderately steep with no flat places at all. It leads up to the water tanks and the joins Buckhorn Loop. We stopped at the bench to journal in the book at that bench and enjoy the view. @actifit-lamb was with us, but I can’t show any pictures as it will ruin her post coming to the blockchain soon !😎

While we were resting, up in one of the fur trees, sitting on a small branch was this little guy.

Onward to go to Slumbering Bear trail, but to hike it backwards. Three quarters through it, I spied this lovely specimen.

All in all, a day meant for being in the forest with nowhere to be. It was perfect!

That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and keep on @actifit steppin’! 🥰🐑👣

A mile-long driveway... they have a beautiful property and must take so much to maintain it. The boulders add natural charm to the already-perfect and beautiful landscape. Once again, your photo of the mushroom /fungi (?) is clear and vivid! You have quite a collection of digital photos that you can make into a slideshow to play with great music while you take your mocha!
Thanks for sharing your day, my lovely sis. Take care🥰🌺🤙 and xoxo 🤗💕💋!

Hey sis! Keith and Lynne are very lucky with the land they have. It is indeed beautiful! I love fall especially, and a lot of interesting fungi reveal themselves in the woods. Spring can also be interesting as well, because the fugi are different then.

Take care sis and have a lovely week ahead!🤗💕🌸😘

WOW, lucky to own that large a track of beautiful land. This reminds me of Ted Turner and John Malone and the 10 land barons who own 13 million acres of the U.S. collectively! 🥰🌺🤙

They are very lucky; they bought it back in the 70's with a couple of friends and they each have their own track that abuts each other's. We are so blessed they allow us 24/7 access!😘🤗💕🌸
