My Actifit Report Card: September 12 2020
Hello everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Usually on Saturdays, I tend to sleep until I get up. We had plans today so that wasn’t an option. The first thing I noticed upon rising is that the smoke was still with us. I was hoping that it might have dissipated some, but that was not the case. It wasn’t any worse at that point, so I guess that was good.
We had made plans with Jan to hike at 10:15, so our the door we went. I wore a mask again due to smoke. We were not going to do the whole trail due to all the other stuff we needed to do today.
Afterwards, we parted ways with Jan for a bit and headed into the house to get on our SSG community Saturday voice chat. We had a nice time. During that call, I started working on packing up what I needed to gather for practice at church tonight. After the call was finished, we had some lunch and then headed out to the church.
We haven’t led live worship in the building in literally 6 months! We weren’t sure how gains and various other settings had been changed, so we planned to take time to look it all over and reset what needed doing.
After running through the songs and working out some bugs, I called Jan and told her we were ready. Jan sings wonderful harmony and we are very blessed to have her back with us. We ran through the set with her and called it good for the evening. We will run through it again tomorrow before service as well.
When we came out of church, it’s hard to believe, but the smoke was much worse! Visibility was down to maybe a quarter of a mile!🙀
We headed to the grocery to get some salad for dinner, and then home.
@actifit-lamb is busy working on her own post, so she didn’t go hiking today because of that and of the smoke.
