Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
I got the best night’s sleep I’ve had in several weeks. I judge this by my heart rate at night and for the first time in several weeks, I was below my resting heart rate for most of the night. I think I’ve been overly stressed. I’m hoping for another tonight.
Today dawned partly sunny. First on the docket for the day was our Saturday chat on silvergoldstackers community. Folks were a bit slow to join but it was lively as always. We did beg off early as we haven’t had any rainless days, so the long hike was next in line.
We met up with Jan and headed on up. It was a very breezy day and colder than any of us anticipated, but we were ready with hats, gloves, scarves and headbands.
Moss flourishes this time of year here in the Northwest. Just take a look at this luscious vibrantly green moss down in Bear Hollow.
It was really windy along Slumbering Bear trail as that area can be a wind tunnel at times. I found many fungi growing there but this particular on was pretty cool.
Of course, @actifit-lamb and company were along for the hike. I’ll only show one pic as @actifit-lamb is going to do her own adventure post soon.
It was total chaos for sure!
It was great to get out again and hike after more than a week of rain and not being able to do the long hike. I really needed it!
According to the forecast, the rain is due back again tomorrow. The percentage is midrange so I’m hoping it misses us. Two days in a row of hiking would be awesome!
That’s gonna be it for now. As @actifit-lamb would say, ‘ get those hooves @actifit movin’!’
Good night all!👣🐑😎🥰😁
