Hey everybody! Thanks for stopping by!
The day started off with my trip to the dentist. He worked on a couple teeth; one numbed and one not. It was good; no real pain. That’s what I like about my dentist. He’s good at what he does.
Upon returning home, I fixed my coffee that I’d not had time to think about before. I was hoping my mouth would behave and not dribble it out of the corner of the numb side, lol! I was able to control it so no bib needed. 😁
We were planning a hike at 2, so I got @actifit-lamb, Walter, Winchester and Wisteria ready. Wellington, Windsor and Winnevieve had decided to keep Wilbur the moose company, so they opted to stay home.
You see, Walter has never been to a tea party, and that was what was on the docket for today.
As you can see, a fine time was had by all.
As we were heading down Slumbering Bear trail, I spied this at the base of a tree. It was nice and resplendent with green moss around the base of the tree, but upon closer inspection, I found two little tiny mushrooms just inside the entrance.
All we needed was the Keebler Elves! 🧝♂️
The sun shone throughout the day making this hike simply beautiful and enjoyable!
Once home, I made us coffees and after a little rest, started roasting coffee.
This is the decaf I roast to blend with regular caffeinated coffee to produce my ‘half-calf’ that I drink. As you can see from this picture, the beans are much bigger than the Peaberry beans I chose to roast for the caffeinated coffee.
The decaf is much better than store bought decaf simply because I chose the process it went through, plus this is the freshest you can get! Blended with peaberry, it’s a lovely blend for sure! ☕️
The decaf roast was cause for a little mini celebration as this was the 1000th roast on the #1 machine we purchased back in 2013.
Our #2 roaster purchased a few months after the first, is lagging behind.
Combined, that’s 1895 pounds of coffee we’ve roasted, 😳😁☕️ in these two machines!
Here in a bit, it will be dinner, a little TV and then bed. We stayed up waaaaaay too late last night. We’ve got the internet guy coming tomorrow for our DSL install. They say he will be here between 8 am and noon. I’m figuring around 1:30 or so in reality. However, sleeping in is not an option just in case I’m wrong!🙀
That’s gonna be it for now. Remember......@actifit-lamb says to ‘get those hooves movin’!’
Take care. 👣🐑☕️🥰😁
