My Actifit Report Card: February 21 2021

Hey guys and thanks for stopping by!

The day began with online church. It was a good sermon. 😊

I then began working on my project once again, and because of an update that had just gone live, I was able to download the update and then replaced the DB file with the new bootstrap. It worked! I’ve still got a couple of hurdles to overcome once it syncs, but I’ll cross those bridges when they come. I was just so happy to get this far because I am not a programmer!

We met Jan at 2:30 for a hike. I left @actifit-lamb and company behind as the forecast was for rain and quite frankly, they don’t have rain gear! This winter has been especially tough for hiking due to the rain and then the nor’easter and snow we’ve had. Now it’s back to rain again. 😔

Up at Towhee Ridge, this was the view towards Sumas Mountain.

And, this was the view towards the west.

At first glance, it almost looks like a field of wheat, before you get to the sunset area. Those are actually the tops of all of the deciduous trees.

Of course, as we started back down, it began to rain. Couple that with the wind I forgot to mention, and it wasn’t a lot of fun.

We are always very careful when the wind is howling as we hike up there. There is always the possibility that a tree could come down, but we pay close attention to our surroundings and how the trees react.

The evening was spent with dinner, a bit of TV and then of course with the ‘chain.

@actifit-lamb wanted me to tell everyone’hi’ and that she is looking forward to getting her @actifit hooves movin’! And soon!
