HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY everybody!🍀🍀🍀
Thanks for stopping by today!
Today saw the beginning of my workweek. We were fully booked and very busy. Tomorrow will have lots of things that need doing well enough.
After work, I headed home. @silvertop and I both needed coffee roasted, so we did the 3 pounds before our hike tonight. The house still smells of roasted coffee as I type. Yummy!
We met Jan and off we set. With the time change, we of course have more daylight in the evening. However, I still have the limited number of hours that I have each day when I work. It doesn’t mean I can extend my hiking time for if I stayed up much later than I already am, it might be pointless to bother with sleeping! So we turned around where we do during the fall and winter.
We ran into our neighbor who passed on this photo to us shot on March 15th at 10 am.
Did I ever mention we hike in cougar territory? Here’s the proof! This one was mere feet from where we hike daily!😳
We are generally prepared should we cross one and he/she is interested in us, but generally they want nothing to do with humans. Now, if we ever had to defend ourselves, hopefully all this knowledge of what to do and how to do it doesn’t flee in the heat of the moment!
@actifit-lamb and company are not fond of cougars and asked to stay home tonight.
Walter-lamb and Winston-lamb hanging out at the bench up on Buckhorn Loop the other day.
Tomorrow’s another work day but with me, myself and I. Hopefully the foot traffic will be low so I can accomplish a lot.
That’s gonna be it for now. Be sure to get those @actifit hooves movin’!
