My Actifit Report Card: April 30 2021
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
I’m so glad it’s Friday! A nice 4 day weekend is staring me in the face and I like it ....... a lot!😎
It was busy for me at work today. It seems like the morning always is somewhat laid back and then the afternoon escalates to a bit of a frenzy. I’ve had 2 Fridays where patients don’t show at their appointed times, but then show up exactly one hour later, which messes everything up. Maybe more so with a fill in doc! I also see an influx of folks who manage to come 15 minutes before we close wanting to pick up, order, and various other things. Both of these situations occurred today 🤪
But, it’s done now and it is after all, the weekend! After running to the bank and post office, I headed home for a coffee and an evening hike. Jan came with.
My second snail baby save for the season! I had to pick him up and resettle him as a pickup truck was barreling towards him!😳🐌 Whew! I sat him down to take a pic and then moved him further off the road to be sure he was safe. He is just 4 years old.
We headed on up and after going to the pond, turned back. We had noticed a van with a lift bucket on top just where the pavement ends. It was ZiplyFiber working on an install. Based on the angle of the van, they were seriously stuck. They were waiting on AAA to come get them out. They’re from Los Angles doing contract work. We filled them in on wildlife in the area as they were sitting very close to a recent cougar sighting. I think they were a bit disconcerted after we advised correct behavior should they have an encounter while waiting. It was headed towards dusk-prime cougar prowling time.

Even though there’s a good chance of rain tomorrow, I’m hoping for better weather. I need to garden some! @actifit-lamb is itching to get her hooves dirty and garden too. 🐑
