My Actifit Report Card: May 26 2021
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Wednesday/Monday for me today at work. I knew we were fully booked and had planned to try to get the a little early. You know what they say………. the best laid plans…….🙄
I backed out into a fork in our driveway so I can pull out into the road due to the angle of the road and our driveway. Imagine my surprise when I looked in my review mirror only to see a pallet with our $1800 dollar mini split sitting on the other side of the driveway gate, but in the middle of the driveway! I couldn’t get out! The freight company, who I spent an hour on hold with yesterday, told me it would be delivered between 12 noon and 6 p.m. I would also get a call from the driver when they were 30 minutes out. Maybe they were mistaken and meant 12 am and 6 am, but I never got a call either! Cross that with the forecast for rain, and we were not very happy at all!😡 @silvertop came out to get it off the pallet so I could get out of the driveway and go on to work. So work was busy and I got a lot done. Tomorrow, the doc is coming in for a half day as we’ve just got so many folks who need to see him.
I came home and and found an Amazon box in the middle of the driveway! What is this-leave your deliveries in the driveway, day or what? This one was easier dealt with than the first one, lol.
I made coffees and we headed out for a short hike. No new pics from today, so here’s some from previous hikes.

Ha ha, it does seem like it's leave stuff in your driveway day! Oh my gosh, that would be a shock not to be able to get out of your driveway!
It was total disbelief! Granted, it might be hard to steal that un-noticed, but seriously, what were they thinking?! What if Mike hadn't been home? I couldn't handle that much on my own; I wouldn't have been able to even go to work! Crazy! Thanks for commenting @jayna!💜

It's good are Amazon driver values his job... he comes to my door, rings twice, if nobody answers, tucks it away hidden from easy view!
That is so nice! Ours are not quite that responsible. A lot of people feel that the north end of the county is 'way out there' and too far to drive. They have no idea! It's only 25 miles from Bellingham! I remember when we lived in Colorado, we'd drive 132 miles one way to go to Home Depot! Now that is a far distance! You should bake cookies for your Amazon driver and ask if he can come train ours! Take care sis!
