My Actifit Report Card: May 29 2021
Hey guys and thanks for stopping by today!
My beautiful sunflower! The weather was good today which made it a no brainer to go garden! This was the second flower I planted red today. It has so many little sun flower heads on it. I can’t wait for it to bloom!
If you look to the back portion of the photo, you’ll see yellow buttercup It’s a bit of an obnoxious weed here as it takes over entire pastures and chokes out grass. Anyway, where I planted the sunflower, the ground was covered in it. I have this claw like tool that you stick the tines in and twist. It will rip up weeds just like that! It also uses muscles you didn’t realize you had, so I’ll probably not be able to move tomorrow lol 😂 It works well and made quick work of the weeds that were there.
Prior to the sunflower, I planted this.
A purple lupine! One of my favorite flowers! This one should return year after year as it is a perennial.
In the afternoon, we and Jan headed up for a hike. This Monday is Memorial Day where we honor our fallen and deceased veterans for their service to our country. In honor of that, I had purchased red, white and blue decorations to decorate our community tree at the entrance to the Upper Trail.
The decorations will also work for the 4th of July as well as Labor Day in September. I’ve got the summer covered!
It was a beautiful day for a hike! Just at the entrance to Bear Hollow, I saw this little 6 year old snail baby.
@actifit-lamb and the entire gang came along to enjoy the outdoors! They really liked the sun!
Another day is done. Soon it will be time for bed. Enjoy your evening and have a blessed Sunday! 👣🐑☕️😎👍☀️🌻🐝🌟😴

That purple lupine is gorgeous! How tall can they grow?
They average 15-24 inches. They spread nicely as well and are a perennial too. They also come in a variety of colors. I chose the purple because purple is my favorite color! Thanks for commenting and stopping by @kingneptune!
The sunflower is beautiful and the purple lupine is gorgeous!
I seldom see purple lupine!
There tends to be a lot of purple lupine here, but that's perfect as it's my favorite color!
