My Actifit Report Card: July 13 2021

The day dawned sunny and warm. No clouds in the sky and no rain in the forecast either. We really could use the rain.

I began my day by hauling water out to the garden to water it, and then to the various potted flowers to give them a drink as well. Our house has no outside spigot; we’ve never gotten around to rectifying the situation, so I have two five gallon buckets that we fill and then I haul. Exercise-right? 😏

Then I headed to a new touch-less car wash to give it a try. I haven’t taken the car in about a year to get a wash. It was badly in need of it. It did a great job however I won’t wait that long again!

This is fireweed. It’s my understanding that fireweed honey is somewhat sought after. I know once upon a time my oldest son had to have some as he was making fireweed honey wine. Apparently the honey is worth quite a bit of money.

We set up and ran through music for this coming Sunday. I’m still undecided on one song but the rest of it is coming together nicely. 🎶

Then we headed out for a hike with Jan. It wasn’t the full hike however we did climb “The Hill”. 🙄

I’ve got work tomorrow and am trying to figure out just how much earlier than normal, I need to go in at. I’ve got 7 jobs (extremely unusual) left over from Friday, plus all of a fully booked appointment day’s worth of insurance to verify. Really I’m thinking I ought to go in around 7:30 to make sure I get it all done prior to they day’s business. If I do, that will be a 9.5 hour workday. (Sigh). Oh, and that’s not counting the stuff that’s been added to my desk in my absence. Usually it looks like a nuclear bomb went off on my desk when I get there on Wednesday mornings! Crazy 😜!
