My Actifit Report Card: July 17 2021
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
I slept in just a little this morning and after a shower and whatnot, we headed off to church to set up for practice. Each time we go in to do this, we seem to encounter issues with how the board was left. However I made quick work of discerning the issues and we were set to rights in no time. 😎
Jan joined us at one for practice. We ran through all 4 songs in about 20 minutes and called it good for the day. We all headed home after we locked up the church with plans to meet at 4 pm to go hiking.
It had been cloudy pretty much all day and it really looked like it should be raining. Unfortunately it never did. We headed on up and I was sure we were going to do the whole hike, but Mike figured we’d better just make Towhee Ridge and call it good.
@actifit-lamb and her Winnevieve-lamb came along as they were on the hunt for bugs! They had their bug house along and were able to find butterflies.
They had so much fun tromping through the meadow grasses up at Towhee Ridge! They even got the butterflies to sit on them.
We headed for home. I found this interesting fungus growing on the upper trail, tucked away under some vegetation.
It kind of reminds me of pancakes. 😁

Hey @kingneptune! Yes, it went well both last night at practice and then today for worship. One person in the congregation said that worship was 'electric'. He wants us to lead every weekend, but we are just happy doing once a month. We did the weekly thing for years in the past. If we had nothing else to do (ie, work, other commitments, etc) then yes, we might. Thanks for commenting my friend!🤗😇😎👍

You can make a hanging mobile and put them in a tree close to the swing area.
How is your swing?
Jan does a lot of garage sale-ing and happens upon a lot of @actifit-lamb size accessories. She donates to the 'lamb cause'. The swing is great, except until the mosquitos go away, I can't sit out and enjoy it. I'm allergic to them and they just LOVE me (unfortunately).
