My Actifit Report Card: July 24 2021

Updates, updates, updates! Today was the day. I had two Mac Airs that needed updating; a Pirate full node wallet with a new version to update and install, and here in a bit, I got @silvertop a new Fitbit, so I’ll help with that. Whew!!
We took a shorter hike today because the Pirate wallet was uncharted update territory and I needed to see what happened when the bootstrap file completed downloading. As you can see from the photo, not a cloud in the sky. Also warmer than I like 🙄
Our door lock mechanism on the front load washer decided to go bad just as a comforter had started the cycle 😳 I was able to find it on Amazon and it should be here tomorrow. You should have seen the river from the washer to outside when we took the comforter out of the washer to get it outdoors to dry on sawhorses! It was too water logged to hang on a line. We didn’t want to leave it in it, plus we needed to get as much standing water out of the washer as we could. What a fiasco!
Jan came with on our shortened hike, but she had a surprise with her for the ‘kids’ as she calls @actifit-lamb and company. Needless to say, @actifit-lamb was completely taken with it!
She is planning all kinds of shopping cart races! Do you think she might need a helmet?
Even Cot is intrigued by it!
No telling what they might come up with together!
Later in the day, @silvertop went out for a hike up to the off grid cabin, but I chose to pace indoors instead. I am not a fan of the heat and this was the hottest part of the day! 🥵
It’s been a techy and busy day! I’m looking forward to dinner, a spot of TV and then bed later.
🤞Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the Amazon mail person delivers tomorrow as scheduled! I need to do some laundry! Unfortunately most times, they will use the excuse that the gate wasn’t open, too much ice or snow ( even when there’s none) or any other convoluted reason they can cook up. We live just far enough out that they don’t want to come!
