Happy Caturday to all!
Yes, it’s that favorite day of the week-Caturday! In celebration of our furry feline friends, check out Cot and Cyle!
There was just one skylight with beautiful sunshine streaming in, and the boys decided to share!
The sun gave them a surreal appearance!

We went to town to get another yard of mulch. While we were there, they had a nice hut full of plants. I checked them out and was interested in some of their Roma tomatoes. There was no pricing about, so I figured they were pricey.
When we were inside to pay for the mulch, I asked about the pricing. I told the gal I’d be back and went to pick out my tomatoes! I got 6 healthy plants for $3.49. A stupendous deal when you consider one plant at Home Depot or Walmart is over $5!!
Once home, I began working on what I planted last week by watering and mulching them. I then commenced to plant some pansies I’d bought a couple of weeks ago as well as a Gerber Daisy.
I planted 3 different pots of pansies. One pot actually had a Viola that had survived the winter. Here is its bloom.

After taking a break, we headed out for a hike to the cabin. It was downright hot! We jumped straight from a very cool spring into the summertime frying pan! We’ve been seeing 40 degree temperature swings! Crazy! Now tomorrow, it will be 20 degrees cooler for a high. 🙄
Coming down from our hike, I spied a gate shadow and took a pic.
And, a little further on, I found one of the first berry flowers for the year. The berries this plant bear are edible, but I find them to be a little on the bitter side and don’t much care for them.

The berries; we have blackberries that grow wild and boy are they big! There is the service berry also known as a thimble berry as it resembles a sewing thimble in shape. The salmon berries are the ones that look like blackberries, but they are more of a deep peachy salmon color. They are edible, but I don't really like them. The thimble berries and the blackberries are totally awesome!! Last year, we gathered around 11 pounds of them just by hiking up the road! I am anticipating this year!! Love ya much sis!🤗😘💖🌸
