Clear And Blue!…….My Actifit Report Card: July 1 2025

Tuesday brings ladies Bible study which was good as always. Working on the Beatitudes.

When it was done, I had a couple errands to run and then headed home. @silvertop suggested the Gold Mine Trail as it’s shady and a bit cooler. It’s been seriously hot the past few days, but it’s really the humidity that makes it hard to bear. I don’t do well in this type of weather. I texted Jan and said we’d pick her up at 2:30. It’s a couple of miles up the road from home, so I drove us.

The first picture is of the view about halfway up the hill to the cooler forest.

It was a little cooler in the forest out of the direct sunlight, but the humidity made up for it. Have I told you I don’t like heat and humidity?

The forest is beautiful in the afternoon despite all that. Enjoy the eye candy!

This is a red,juicy and perfect for the picking, Service Berry, aka Thimble Berry. They are beginning to ripen and taste so good!

@actifit-lamb came along! She enjoyed the soft moss.

Pepe Frog had hitched a ride and came to check out the green moss.

I found some ‘shrooms and will share those pics tomorrow, but for now, here’s some Turkey Tail I saw along the side of the trail.

You never know just what you might find!
