Happy Caturday Everybody! 😻🐈‍⬛🐈…..My Actifit Report Card: May 2 2026

Cyle is such a lazy boy-but then again, it IS Caturday! Cot was showing a bit of a playful nature.

Alas-Caturday…..a day devoted to kitties everywhere and for humans, a day to recharge. I slept in slightly, but couldn’t for long as today was the ladies event at church. I didn’t take any pictures so I’ll try to describe things.

The sanctuary had been redesigned with round tables, black tablecloths and in the center was a small buffet of various pastries and fresh fruit. On each chair was a cloth bag from an organization that helps refugees. The refugees creat the bags. They are sold for $1 and each one sold feeds a refugee for four days! Pretty amazing really. As you entered the sanctuary, back in the far right corner was a refreshment table offering cold coffees, Italian sodas and dirty sodas. To the right of that was a Valleygirl sweatshirt table where you could purchase a sweatshirt and directly to the right of that was the supplies to make Bible bookmarks with charms on them.

Once it began, there was some trivia and prizes awarded and then worship. The worship set the mood for Rachel, the pastor’s wife, to give the talk she had planned. This gathering was entitled ‘Marked’ for we are all marked for Christ. How each of us is enough-for we are all beautiful in Christ’s eyes. We are enough-regardless of what others or the world thinks of us. It was a beautiful message.

Afterwards, we gathered the materials for the bookmarks and gathered for fellowship. My friend Linda did not come as I feared might happen. Ironically, I sat with a lady who is a patient of mine at the clinic and is also a friend of Linda’s. She’s concerned as I am. This ladies event would have been perfect to lift her spirits some. I’ll share some of the things I received in tomorrow’s post.

After getting home, @silvertop and myself headed to town to get a few items. But first, he needed caffeine and was hungry and I wanted to try a new drink and I needed some food as well. Starbucks was the destination!

My new drink I tried was chai tea with coconut milk, and instead of classic sweetener, I had them add sugar free vanilla instead. The food I tried was a spicy falafel pocket. It was quite tasty and filling-a good choice for me. The chai tea was good, but I did miss my coffee, lol!

Outside of Walmart, there were some really fluffy white cumulonimbus clouds.

The sky was the bluest I’ve seen in quite some time. 😎

All in all a lovely day gone by way too quickly! Enjoy some flowers!

Well, that’s all for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

👣🐑☕️🌻🌞😁😎👍😇🐈‍⬛😻🐈🌙🥱😴

BSB Matthew 10:29-31

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Wow, $1 was good for four days? That is truly amazing!!! Here in the US, the cheapest you can do by preparing home-cooked meals is $3 to $5/day. These are essentially low-cost meals, such as Pasta/Rice dishes; stews/chili; sandwiches like grilled ham and cheese or simple grilled cheese, chicken and veggies using chicken drumsticks, which is often cheaper than wings or breasts, and paired with rice or pasta; taco salad using ground beef, beans, and fresh veggies can be cheaper than takeout!
Too bad that Linda couldn't make it! Your friendship could have grown, and there would have been a reason to see her again, with more to share... that's really sad. There will be other opportunities, let's hope!'You know, I haven't tried coconut milk... I've used it a thousand times in cooked dishes, but never taken it as is.
Your day was full, and thanks for sharing it with us, sis.

Hey sis! I'm thinking of looking the organization up and seeing just what all they do and how they do it. Maybe that will answer the riddle of how a $1 lasts 4 days for one refugee.

Linda didn't make it to church today either, which had me worried. When I got home, I called her and she answered. She said she wasn't feeling well which is why she missed. She's better now which is good. We are heading up there tomorrow as I purchased a locking mailbox for her and Mike will install it tomorrow when I go up for my every other Monday visit. I am hoping to cheer her up a little.

Love ya back! 🤗😘😍❤️ !HOPE !INDEED !PIMP
