Mangos of Local Taste

Alhamdulillah. All praise to almighty Allah. The cultivation and production of mango this year was really great. In the the local villages of Bangladesh many of the varieties of mangoes are being produced. Many of those are not of the mostly talking categories which normally collected from the rajshahi or chapainawabganj district. Rajshahi division is very famous for mango production and the mango of those reason is is big in size and sweet in taste. But what you can see in the picture is from the local variety which are also good looking and test day but only the size is small.

As Bangladesh is very famous in mango production so we can see a varieties of mangoes with size shape colour test in the rural villages. For example what I am sharing in the photograph is from about five trees of my village and you can see the variations are are very remarkable. The size colour and shape of each variety has some difference with other. Most importantly the taste and smell of mango is obviously different. So it is very difficult to say that how many varieties are available here in Bangladesh and I must say that it is huge. If you find four or five varieties from a single house then I am pretty sure that you will find varieties when you go through the mango trees of neighbouring houses and neighbouring villages. The variation is available in different countries but here you will find the variation in different district different villages.

In this communication based world it is not difficult to arrange the mangoes from rajshahi district. So now as the communication is very well so we have good opportunity to test all the varieties. Those are best but if I just talked about the test of local varieties of villages of small mangoes are obviously great as well.

You will not find the exact name of the varieties found in the villages but there don't want to know about the name is well. The main criteria of comparing mango is its taste and size. The people of local villages only compare mangoes with its taste whether it is sweet or not. When it is sweet that is categorised as the good mangoes and when it is sour then it is treated as not good. Another criteria is the size of the mangoes and in that case people try to compare the trees which are capable of producing good mangoes is treated when the size of the mango is big. Colour is another factor because when we see the colour then we can easily understand which one will be of sweetest and which one will be of soir taste. About 95% of the cases it is found be defined and true that when it is looking beautiful it is obviously sweet. Thank you very much for stopping by
