Podbrdo and mountains around it - #poliac Actifit challenge, day no. 19

Saturday, June 19th. One thing only to do. Perform the sweeper role at the first third of the Ultrarunning event at the Podbrdo Trail Running Festival.

The task was to follow, support, and encourage the last runner at the 107 K long ultra trail run.

I woke up at 4:40 am and drove down to the start area in Podbrdo. The start was at 6 am. It was a fabulous day, very hot yet very fulfilling. My job was done splendidly.

I'll enrich this report with three photos of the views we've had. More about the run in a separate report. In the end, it was almost 45 kilometers with almost 3000 meters of vertical climb. Great!
