My Actifit Report Card: July 7 2021

Today, got me doing a lot of thinking. Thinking about my family, friends, life, relationships, and most especially love. Well, it is so surprising and devastating to realize that the people we showered our love, care to, and expect them to do the same for us always end up being the ones to make us realize what a waste of time we have used trying to make them realize how much we love them.

Just maybe we do not have the money, kind of education and the rest doesn't mean love can't be expressed. What is friendship, what is a relationship without love, what is a family without love, love that is genuine and selfless?
Many want to love and be loved back genuinely without holding back, but unfortunately always end up with the wrong people who give them a reason to doubt love, friendship, and relationship as a whole.

Why be in a relationship when you are not ready to give your all? why lead people or someone making them think you love them just the same way they love you when you don't even feel that way? Why become selfish all of a sudden because the other doesn't have enough to give you like before?

I am always surprised to hear and see that people who would do anything to see them and make them happy without telling them what we had to do to see them smile are the same people who don't even understand what it means.

It is no wonder I hear people say that they do not have best or close friends or aren't ready to go through the stress of any word that has to do with the four-letter words "ship". They are not ready to be used and played at the end of the day by the same people they gave their all to.

They don't want to be trampled upon by the same people they held like eggs, don't want to be betrayed by the same people they refused to let go and cling to even when nobody saw anything in them. They don't want to have high expectations of a certain person and end up seeing it shattered into pieces because of the person's selfishness.

Love is selfless, love is aiming to see people happy, and if you can't be that two, then don't bother telling someone you love them when you don't. If only the world will know what love is, there won't be a problem because everyone will work towards making their friends, and family happy.

What is love without selflessness? Love is sweet but with the right set of persons.
