Wild poppies at the Gog Magog Downs, Cambridge 🐞
The lockdown has given me some time for quiet reflection 😌
At first I reached out to friends, particularly those living alone. More recently, I have been contacting family and friends who are “shielding” due to serious health issues and have been housebound for 10 weeks 😷
I have also been in touch with family in Hong Kong who have escaped a serious epidemic but who now face political turmoil. Some are applying for British passports and I want to help as much as I can as they were so kind to me when I was younger 🤲🏽
I realise we are the generation with young children and elderly relatives to take care of and the pandemic has focused our mind on our priorities 👫🏻
