My Actifit Report Card: July 11 2020

They say walking in the middle of the woods makes the soul breath!

So today I went for a nice walk with a friend of mine who made me use her camera, a Nikon D3100, because I didn't have mine and she asked me to show her some tricks as she's still learning to use the reflex. It was nice to discover a new park and village and to take some random pics immersed into the wild! My friend was also very kind to guiding me and we has a very nice time, so much so that time flew and I didn't even realize how long we walked. Note all the pictures are not edited, my friend uploaded them on her PC and sent them to me via WhatsApp, so the quality got also a little bit down. But hopefully you'll enjoy the shots anyways!

This time of the year it's common to see fires accidents on the peaks because of the very hot temperature and dried fields. So from a distance you can tell there's a fire from the smoke uprising over the hill.

When I took this pic I also said to my friend "if this thing ever gets in my house, I'd move out"

Do you know the name of this plant? I had no idea but it looked very nice to me, especially for its bright colors

Birdhouses are so lovely, I swear 🤩

Here I was messing up trying to show my friend some tricks with the combined use of long exposure and zooming in-out while clicking. Definitely didn't work well 😅

Unfortunately one shot is missing: we were lucky enough (even thou it creeped me out) to see a family of boars crossing our way! It all happened so fast I had no time to take the pic, but the event was definitely amazing, and terrifying at the same time. Indeed, it's very common to see boars crossing streets especially in that area, but it's less scaring when you're driving a car or at least you're in a safe place... Worst case scenario in that situation: mom boar destroys your car. Instead, when you're walking, you can literally be attacked and the risk of dying from that is very high. Fortunately they ran away, undisturbed, and after that, we passed by too.
