Winter Sea on Beautiful Sunday • My Actifit Report Card: December 13 2020

With my mom, we decided to leave early on Sunday morning and we drove all the way to our beach house. We spent almost the whole day just walking on the beach, till sunset: it was simply so relaxing and regenerating, I could not ask for more.

Since September, I had not come back to this place, and for me it's not just a beach house, but the place where I spent the most important moments and holidays of my life, ever since I was a baby. My parents did live their youth holidays too, and so did my grandparents. My entire family is very attached to this place, no matter what. Sometimes it's just the sight of the mountains of Terracina and Circeo that I need to get in order to step back from life problems and just take my time.

Some other times, the company is perfect along with the view, and so is life. Nowadays we're all getting through hard times; I myself am struggling with work and financial issues, but life will get better, I refuse to give up to desperation or worse. It's very true as humans we're in need for some rescue and breaks, but they're nothing more than momentary timeouts, as the show won't stop!

I took some cool pic with my Nikon D3200, my beloved companion of travels. However, here I wanna post some shots my mom and I took with the smartphone, as I'd like to dedicate a full post on my photos from the reflex camera.

It's such a shame the shore is very dirty: it ruins the best of what our eyes are left with. Nonetheless, we were lucky enough to enjoy a breathtaking sunset, the kind I had missed for too much.

Also, the sky was so clean and light that all the Isole Pontine were visible!

I love the way the sunset light makes the Terracina mounts look so soft and pink, while on the opposite, the sun slowly hides behind the mount of San Felice Circeo. Paradise-like view!

Hopefully we'll be able to get back to travel more and soon; in the meantime, I feel lucky to live not far from such amazing places, especially from those I love the most.
