Hi!
It was another day shift: Water Treatment Plant for me.
The drained Sedimentation Tank that I have written about previously now has scaffolding installed.
We can access the floor of the tank to hose it out and inspect it's condition and do any maintenance work that's needed.
In the afternoon I spent a couple hours hosing out one of the Flocculation Bays.
It was knee-deep with sludge.
Good thing I had my gumboots.
Only 5 to go!

It's interesting for sure.
The progress on the sedimentation tank has stalled this week due to wild weather and being short-staffed.
Management are pushing to get it done by October, so it can be refilled and used for the upcoming ACH coagulant trial, but that's wildly unrealistic at this stage.
There's still a lot of work to go before it's completely clean.
We might have a chance to get back into it next week. See what happens.

We are still hoping to hike up to the Gold mine, but it will probably be Tuesday. Nasty weather blowing in at the moment, hopefully the weekend will be nice!!
