Tuesday in my part of the world.

A day shift: Water Treatment Plant was how I spent it.

The contractor was onsite in the morning for an internal inspection on those two air receivers in the Sludge Plant.

Plus one in the workshop back at the main plant, and another one 'in the networks'.

I wasn't involved with the last two.

...

The ACH trial has begun. Sort of...
We started filling the sedimentation tank. That same one I've written about a few times before. That's today's image.

The actual ACH dosing has yet to begin.

It was meant to, but an electrical issue with the dosing pumps scuppered that for the day.

There's often unexpected complexity and delays encountered with a project of such magnitude.

I'm making no revolutionary statement by saying so, I know.

Switching to a different primary coagulant; from Aluminium Sulfate to Aluminium Chlorohydrate (ACH), at a plant this size, is a huge undertaking.

Though I reckon the electricians had it sorted by day's end.

I don't know for sure, but I do know we have some incredibly talented tradespeople in the company.
