A 14-kilometer walk in perfect weather... my training diary entry from January 4 2026

(Since I missed taking a nice photo yesterday, here's another one of the Isar River that I took a few weeks ago.)

Hi Actifitters,

Since I still have visitors and not much happened yesterday anyway, I will keep it short today. My buddy, his dog and I simply went for a 14-kilometer walk in perfect weather and a wintry landscape. Sadly, I completely neglected to take some nice photos.

Unfortunately, Actifit recorded far too few steps again. According to Garmin, I took approximately 26,500 steps yesterday.

I will unfortunately have to forgo exercise today. There are some organizational matters that need to be taken care of. However, training will resume as usual tomorrow.

This incorrect recording of your steps by actifit like you mentioned can't something be done? Because all steps needs to be paid for.Anyway you just gained a follower, for I myself,I am an actiffiter.Have a great day.

As long as the developers of the Actifit app don't take care of it, and they obviously haven't for a very long time, this probably won't change... unfortunately.

    I keep hearing about that step counting problem and I experienced something similar for a while back when I was posting on Actifit regularly. I hope it gets resolved, it seems like it might discourage people from posting.

    This is a really annoying problem, but it seems to only be this bad with the Android app. It seems to work reasonably well on Apple devices.

    I'll still keep posting. The data in my Garmin app is more important to me than the data in the Actifit app anyway. And maybe the developers will actually work on their app again sometime in the future.
