Training readiness is finally back in the green zone... my training diary entry from April 12 2026

(I encountered these and similar cleaning robots in Thailand, both at the airports I visited and in shopping malls.)

Hi Actifitters,

after two rest days, I trained again yesterday for just under two hours. I spent almost 70 minutes doing a mix of stretching and aerobics, and then hopped on my bike for another 50 minutes. While pedaling, I made sure to keep my heart rate low so as not to interrupt my body's recovery.

Apparently, this worked really well, because my training readiness has climbed to 60, putting it in the green zone. I'd like to see this value climb even higher, but I'm very happy with the progress.

My sleep score was also better than in recent days at 84, and my body battery was also higher than before at 52.

So I seem to be on the right track. Today I have to go to the office at lunchtime, so I can only train in the morning. I'll do that right away. On the agenda is the "Climb of the Week," which is only available today. I won't know what I'm getting myself into until I start the Zwift software. I'm excited.

Happy to read that you're getting back on track! I didn't go too far today either. Tomorrow is leg day, then I might pump up to a 170 bpm on the bike. I watched it a little closer last week, too, and it never took me more than 2min to get the pulse down to 135 bpm in active recovery mode, on the bike.

Good luck with the climb of the week!
