Back on Track in terms of values... my training diary entry from April 15 2026

(The coconut palm stood in the garden of the first accommodation near Udon Thani (Thailand). It was impressive how many coconuts it bore, considering it hadn't yet grown that large.)

Hi Actifitters,

after having higher than expected values ​​while pedaling the day before yesterday, I completed a comparable session on the bike yesterday to have a comparison. This time the values ​​were normal again. I managed to ride for about 55 minutes at a speed of at least 30 km/h and keep my heart rate below 130.

Thus, my body was out of balance and the chest strap worked.


Unless I have an important appointment, I haven't set an alarm for a long time. My internal clock or the pressure on my bladder usually wakes me up earlier than I'd like.

But that wasn't the case last night. I slept a full nine hours. That's a good two hours longer than usual. But I don't want to complain, on the contrary... I'm extremely happy about it, especially when I look at my values.

Sleep score - 86 (pretty high but still not perfect)
Body battery - 92 (dont know when it was that high before)
Training readiness - 77 (I am really happy about this value)

So I'm ready to finally start training a bit harder again. And I'll try to do that today, work schedule permitting. It should work out this afternoon, though.
