Lockdown questions: day 1: Do you drink more or less?
Let start the month of April with a series of questions. Each day I will ask a lockdown related question. Feel free to answer them or to write a post about the answer on the questions!
By doing this we will have something which does encourage posting on Hive and hopefully will increase the interaction!
To bad I don’t have a lot of Hive power but maybe some of the whales are willing to support this!
Do you drink more or less during the lockdown?
Well all countries do have a different kind of lockdown. From just counting on the human sense of human kind to forcing lots of rules!
In Belgium the rules are pretty strict and all cafes and restaurants have been closed down for already 2 weeks!
Normally I do visit the local snooker hall 2 to 4 times a week. Mostly I do drink Karmeliet! Now this option have been wiped out. So each evening I do stay at home with the wife and kids.
So one would assume that I do drink less alcohol than before the lockdown!
Guess what! This is probably a false assumption! 😋
Normally I would never drink at home without visit. This have changed a lot. Easily 12 bottles of beer are emptied during a week. Not that I do drink everyday but if I do drink it will result more than often in 3. The beer I drink are relatively heavy blond beer. Hapkin, Karmeliet or Triple Monkey!
So what about you? Be fair and square! Do you drink less or more during this lockdown?

Right before Minnesota’s governor issued a stay at home order, rumors were circulating that liquor stores would be closed. So we went out and stocked up on beer, mostly stouts, sours, and IPA’s. As it turns out, bars were ordered closed but not liquor stores.
We’ve since been doing our part to get rid of some of our excess inventory. 😄
