The first 3 stages of this year’s Giro d’Italia are hosted by Bulgaria. Stage 3 tomorrow is passing through the small town of Dolna banya where my grandma lives, so we’ve got front row seats to the event just 50 meters away from her house. :-D; Road run, Dolna banya, Bulgaria;

Yeah, we've had 1 crash each day so far. The one today was particularly bad. So, hopefully tomorrow they won't risk it as much if the weather conditions do not allow it.

It looked horrible, riders going over and against the girders...

Yeah, it definitely looked horrible. The speed limit for that turn for cars is 50 km/h and the group were doing close to 70 km/h at that time + the wet road, one guy slipping was enough to bring 15 people down.
