Today was a mostly lazy Sunday laying around the house kind of day. Other than going for a long walk with my two best girls, I didn't do a whole lot today. Well, I guess I did manage to accomplish one thing this afternoon, I did bake a loaf of bread.

Homemade bread is the best. I’ve tried but never turns out good. Ha.

A good bread machine and a simple recipe can make all the difference. I always take my dough out of the machine after the kneading and bake in the oven. The machines are good for reducing the labor involved, but I'm not a fan of their crust or the hole in the bottom of the loaf.

Home made bread is always different and well made.

I like it best because I can control what goes into the bread my family eats. No preservatives other than salt.
