I live in a small village in Nottinghamshire. Just up the road is a town with a small convenience store. We often drive through on our way elsewhere. It’s a few minutes away in the car.

For my walk today I thought i’d pop to the shop and pick up some bits & pieces.

You know that thing when you completely underestimate how far somewhere is?

Yeah. That. My lunchtime walk usually takes me 45 minutes. Today, I had a 90 minute round trip!
