My Dog & Bike patiently waiting! πΆπ²π: February 12th 2021
Hey everybody, π
Here you can see my dog and bike patiently waiting for me outside the supermarket! πΆπ²
Safety first, even he's wearing a mask! π·π
BTW my steps should have been more, I think it wasn't counting the bike time as my phone was constricted! Oh well. π
Stay safe and have a great weekend! π

Two faithful companions! π² π Sounds like the beginning of a fantastic adventure to me! Good stepping today @griega! π
Hey Wil, @wil.metcalfe
Yes indeed! It was quite an adventure especially the return ride with a full backpack on my back, with a shopping bag on the left handle bar and another shopping bag and my dog on the right; not to mention me in wellies...quite the spectacle and adventure! lol
Thanks for stopping by, stay safe! Lee :) !WINE

hahaha! You have some multitasking talent then @griega! Shopping bags on the bike handles can be pretty scary and if the pooch decided to bolt... Well anyways! Obviously you got skillz! π
Thanks @wil.metcalfe! I guess I do, I forgot to mention it was raining too! I love a good challenge! lol I was a little concerned, I'd make an omelette with the freshly bought eggs even before I got home, because my dog likes to mark his territory (which according to him is the whole town lol) so every now and then, I'd get yanked to a halt! π
Take care mate! Lee :)
That's hilarious! Isn't it amazing... Add a bike, a girl, her dog, a fire hydrant, a dozen eggs, and what do you get? A very adventurous omelet! That's what! hahahaha! π€£
Keep it up with all those adventures! I'll be watching for more! π
ROFLMAO! π€£
I will try to keep up the interest! π
Stay safe, mate!
LMFAO! π€£
Oh and hey Lee! One more thing! Did you hear about the #LiveFitChallenge2021 yet? It's a LIVE fitness challenge that I'm doing with the @Actifit and @Appics teams along with Lena @soldier! We are always looking for positive, bright, and motivated people like you to join in all the fitness fun! So how about it!? π
WOW I'm flattered that you ask and the way you described me, although I'm not sure I'd be an asset at the moment with my current foot ailment! I think I'll have to take a rain check on that! :(
I do think the best of you Lee! Every time we chat itβs always a positive vibe that I get! I was thinking the other day after chatting with several people here on Hive... having a goal to make other people feel good about themselves should be 1 of the things that I try to do with every interaction. I actually came up with a couple other objectives... but my goal is to add more meaning wherever I go.
Best thing about this idea is that this level of mindfulness and intention makes it really easy to spot other people with like values. (People like your self Lee! π)
A way to think about it is... People donβt care about how much you know, until they know how much you care.
So speaking of which! Whatβs going on with the foot ailment? Was this an acute injury or something that gradually cropped up? Anything I can do to help you βget back on your feetβ? Just let me know... as a personal trainer, perhaps there is something I can do to help. Let me know ok! π
The feelings mutual, Wil! Yes that is a wonderful and noble objective to have. You definitely made my day! ;)
Backatcha! lol
"People donβt care about how much you know, until they know how much you care." I hadn't thought about it like that before, what a lovely concept!
The foot ailment is a painful growing lump smack in the middle of the 'palm' of my left foot, because of it's position, however I step I have to put pressure on it, so without a lot of padding, i.e. plaster, foam taped to my foot, thick sock (horrible in the summer) and padded shoes; it's very painful to walk. It started in 2019 and just when I was going to get a foot appointment from the Social Security, Covid struck and such things were put on hold. Between last November and this February I've had 4 mini operations to have it removed where they scrape with a scapel as much as I can stand and then zap it with liquid nitrogen to freeze it and hopefully kill it. Four times now and it's only slighty better each time for a few days but keeps growing back. Next week I'll be starting another therapy involving acid to apply daily for 1 to 3 months; hopefully that will do the trick! So to answer your question...it graduallly cropped up! Thank you very much for your kind offer, unfortunately there's nothing you can do. I just hope to be rid of it soon!
I hope all is good with you. Thanks for your support and stay safe my friend! π
