How was your Friday? A good one I hope. 😊
Mine was offline busy. I took my dog J&B for his 3rd veterinary's visit, where finally after 10 days of antibiotics, we saw improvement in his behind! The vet's confident that once his treatment ends tonight, he should be OK. However, we do have a last appointment on Wednesday, just to be sure! 🐶😍

Especially when after 16 months I'm still waiting for the Spanish #basicincome and have no offline income. We're already in the midst of a court hearing but yet still my landlord has taken it upon himself to call me various times a week, to make sure I feel the pressure! I just hope the stress doesn't provoke another stroke, he definitely wouldn't get his back rent then! 😔
Sorry I digress, it's just so frustrating, Covid got me good! 😯
Anyway, I going to try and catch up on some sleep, I really need it! I hope he doesn't call again! 😪

I know how you must be feeling... It seems that (online and offline) there is just no respite from this world wide pandemic. It has certainly taxed my family and I... and I'm just hoping (and planning) for more capacity to deal with the stress as we head into the unknown.
I think that there's been so many good things that have come from these crazy times but, like you, I'll be glad when all of this fades away and we can focus on bringing back some of our regular ways of life.
Stay strong and keep with it girl...
And keep looking for the bright spots too.

It's dark... But now's our chance look for where we are most needed and shine even brighter than before.
That's what I intend to do...
I have actually been making some very very difficult decisions so that I can maximize my impact and move around risk in smart yet simple ways.

I gotta hand it to you! You have managed to achieve a number of #Win’s from the time you registered your very 1st 10,000 steps before 10pm until now! I’m so proud of what you (and everyone else who participated in this fitness initiative) has achieved over the years! 🙌
Today is a milestone however... and I wanted to take the time to personally thank you for being a part of @AdventureReady’s mission to reward intentional fitness activity on the Hive Blockchain! We have been doing this for just over 3 years now and it’s been amazing to be a part of so many people’s fitness journeys (including yours!)

As mentioned above this is a significant day for me because it is the day that I have finally decided to make some VERY difficult decisions.
@AdventureReady & @BeachReady are a HUGE part of my heart and as a certified fitness professional I have considered them to be extensions of myself (my digital arms and legs so to speak!).
These fitness entities encapsulated a personal dream and sparked ideas in me that prompted me to rise early and go to bed late day after day after day... this was (and still is!) my passion project!
So, you can imagine how excited I was to find the Hive Blockchain when I did!
It was the beginning of an exciting quest actually... I wanted to see if it would be possible to send my clients value for being active (BE NOW!) and sharing those fitness adventures with their friends, family’s, and famous here on Hive!
I wanted to see if I could build small achievable #Win’s into people’s days and do it in such a way as to encourage healthy fitness lifestyles around meaningful activity!
That was the vision and still is to this day.
However...
After being an owner on this blockchain (for close to 4 years) I have come to the realization that Hive has a long way to go if it is to achieve the mature social environment necessary to realize and truly support those sorts of aspirations.
Entrepreneurship requires a lot of personal effort, capital investment, and risk. It is a fragile endeavor and that is why BUIDL’ing in a healthy supportive social environment is so imperative to the success of any venture!
And that is why I have decided to make a line in the sand...
So long as Hive’s social structure continues to be governed by the raw exposure to an unsophisticated down vote, I am given no other recourse but to discontinue any and all of @AdventureReady and @BeachReady’s operations on the Hive Blockchain and move them elsewhere.
This means that I will, regrettably, no longer be awarding and rewarding the #AutomaticWin, #Win, #miniCHALLENGE, and #HighFive achievements here on the Hive Blockchain.
It has taken me a couple months to decide this and I have toiled back and forth and lost a lot of sleep over this decision.
This is not the outcome I had envisioned for my fitness companies but I do believe that this is absolutely necessary moving forward.
@griega, (and anyone else reading these words) if you truly care about freedom and the future of this blockchain please do me the favor of considering carefully where our current DV/Zero Out culture is taking us.
I personally believe that freedom of thought (not to mention the full and functional use of our capital in the form of a poweredUP account) can not happen while larger accounts can “own” smaller accounts at will or whim via the implementation of a DV that has no checks and balances.
We need a user-friendly Hive that preserves all the values we stand for on this blockchain!
Freedom, censorship resistance, true decentralization, and the ability to own our own voice, and speak openly to our own audience without abusive oversight.
This, I believe, is the blockchain we all deserve and have invested in.
This is my rational and reasoning for making this very difficult decision that I am making.
If you have anything you would like to ask me or if you have any input I would of course welcome this.

Heck for the last couple of months I've had one of those accounts systematically, (seemily automatically as they are instantly) downvoting all my posts and comments! (BTW ironically ever since I read an e cency post!!! Food for thought perhaps) It IS frustrating and annoying but I'm not sure that that would push me to leave...at least not at this point! I hope not to reach that point! I love #Hive and a lot of people on it!
