Vet, errands & waitressing! 🐶🏃👣: September 29th 2021

How are you? Did you have a good Wednesday? I hope so! 😊
Mine was hectic. I had errands to run, shopping to do and more importantly to get my dog to his vet's appointment! That was surprising, they examined his behind again (with Vaseline fortunately for him) to figure out why he's still bleeding. As 2 days after the meds ended, on Monday he started again! Apparently the infection has gone, which is great, however he's still bleeding so something's wrong, only they don't know what! They decided to consult a proctologist and call me soon. To see what the next course of action could be! In the meantime I should just clean the area daily with Betadine. If we start any sort of treatment now and a blood test is required, the results could be compromised! So now we wait! 🐶😍
After errands, I was called in to work last minute at a friends restaurant, so I didn't have time to post Tuesdays steps! I couldn't waste yesterday's though! One of the tables I served was a group of young French men and women. I haven't used my French much the last few years, with Covid, they just haven't been around. I thought it would be rusty but they asked me where I was from, when I told them English-Greek, they said they were very impressed with my French, so I was quite chuffed! 😄

Yeah me too, Liz! Although he seems a little better today Friday, not so much bleeding. As far as everything else is concerned, he seems fine! Yes Wednesday was hectic for me and from tomorrow all restrictions will be lifted on opening hours and person capacity in, bars, restaurants, discos, cinemas etc. The only rule that will be kept here in Spain for the moment (unless the incidence goes back up) will be to wear masks indoors. So probably the summer season will be prolonged and more tourists will visit, now that it's easier. The HRT has kicked in at last, so once I've caught up on sleep, I should be able to work properly again soon. It looks like I may not have to wait until spring for work to be available once again...time will tell. It's good to be busy but it's good to standstill too, I think the best is a bit of both!
