Today I proudly take a look back at a successful #SMCS20!
It was an informative 5 day digital conference organized by @JeanlucSR 's company and i'm glad to have been a part of it again.
I've been part of it since 2017 and it always gives me a chance to connect with Suriname in terms of business.
This year was an interesting twist though as Covid forced a delay (it's normally held in June). Also it forced the conference to be fully digital. Where you could normally meet everyone and shake hands it was now turned into a video chat at the most!
I'm glad to report that even with the adjustment the conference went well. As far as I could tell people adjusted quickly to the online platform, they mingled, they posted, they were active in the chat and they enjoyed the speakers.
I volunteered to give a few networking sessions so people could talk about some interesting topics while connecting with other attendees.
During my networking sessions we talked about:
- Covid’s Silver Lining - The positive effects for you and your company
- Trip Down Memory Lane - Classic Commercials you still remember 20 years later!
- Promoting Suriname - How are you promoting Suriname?
All topics I personally feel are worth talking about and topics you can always connect with me on!
A special shout-out goes to organization Social Media Suriname/Ineffable N.V. , to all the speakers for their insights and to everyone who joined my sessions!
