Hello, beautiful people of Hive platform and I am alive challenge community. Hope that everything is happening according to your plans and expectations. I am fine too, Alhamdulillah. This is my 33rd participation in the #iamalivechallenge run by @flaxz. This is also going to be my today’s Actifit report and proof of today's win.
Today, Tuesday, was my holiday, a day away from the patients. I spent my whole day at home with my kid and wife. However, the day seemed ended very fast; a classic example of the relativity of time.
Last night, while I was scrolling down my Facebook homepage, a piece of death news drew my attention. It was in one of the doctor's groups on Facebook. Yesterday morning, one first prof medical student, from a renowned medical college in Dhaka (the capital city of Bangladesh) died unexpectedly. He was studying for the upcoming professional examination in his room. He felt ill and was taken to the emergency department. However, he was already dead when reached the emergency room. The emergency physician just confirmed it by doing the ECG.
Maybe (I don't know), he was the only member of his entire family who was going to be a doctor. They had the dream of having a doctor amongst them. But, like a bolt from the blue, their dreams were shattered into pieces.
Having read the news, I again realized how lucky and blessed I am! I am alive. I am a doctor. Alhamdulillah.
