Story of a patient who is in great trouble!

Assalamu Alaikum! Hello, there! Fellow actifiters! How are you all? I am hoping that you are doing great. I am doing the same, Alhamdulillah. Here is the actifit report on the 27th of September, 2022. It was Tuesday. It is my Actifit report number 835.

On Tuesday, 26 people came to my chamber with various kinds of symptoms. Nowadays, we are getting a lot of patients with upper respiratory tract infections. Many students are coming as well. As nobody is doing any COVID19 tests, we cannot be sure if all of them were having a simple cold/flu or if some of them had the special virus as well! In the visa medical section, 32 people came for the check-up.

Story of a patient who is in great trouble!

Here I am going to share a short story of a middle-aged patient who is indeed in great trouble! According to him, he was having an allergy to his man-part which turned into an infection and there was pus on that part. He already went to the government hospital where he was given "a strong antibiotic" (according to him. However, he couldn’t take the antibiotic due to vomiting. So, he came to me for some alternatives to it.

I wanted to see the condition of the affected part. He exposed it and I was kinda shocked to see it. His private part (mostly body/shaft) was quite red, swollen and there was frank pus over it. It was a case of cellulitis and was in a bad shape.

As the management option, the wound needed to be cleaned thoroughly by a surgeon. It was beyond my level of surgical expertise! He also needed a broad-spectrum antibiotic. If he cannot take an oral one, he must need an injectable one. Considering all these, I urged him to go to a surgeon in a higher centre immediately. He left.

Most likely, by scratching with the fingers (due to allergies), he made some abrasion on his private part that got a secondary bacterial infection.

So, be careful when you are scratching your ball or private part!

Oh, I can't even imagine what that looked like... I don't want to imagine it. Cleanliness and care are so important to avoid these sorts of things. After my skin reacted so badly to the lotion, and all the spots that were affected, it could have easily (thoughtlessly) affected some very sensitive spots, but thankfully I was ok. This gentleman... not so much. OUCH!
