Actifit: Of wives and elephants
Today I left work a little earlier. I had to work long days this week and even half a day on Sunday, so I thought to myself it might be nice to get home early today, eat at a decent hour and spend the evening watching TV and playing Rising Star, which I just discovered a few days ago.
"Good you're home early honey, you have to get that elephant on the wall. You promised to do that before our daughter's birthday tomorrow.", was wat greeted me.
Well, I didn't remember promising anything of that sort, but instantly realizing that arguing would be to no avail, I spent the evening taking measure of the wall, drilling holes and cleaning up the mess.
As always, I ate around 9pm and collapsed on the sofa. The pleasures of being a father and husband.
But the does look cute indeed now, don't you think?
