Recovering From Eye Surgery: March 20 2020

It's been more than 24 hours since my eye surgery. I've come back home from my post-op appointment and so far everything looks well according to the surgeon. I now have a brand new donor cornea. For the next few weeks half of my left eyelids will be sewn together shut for my eye to heal. I will also need to tape a plastic shield over my eye before I go to sleep.
