Future Work

avatar

Right around the time the current pandemic began I got certified as an assistive technology specialist through CSUDH. Because of the pandemic I haven't been able to do much with that yet. Hopefully soon I can start looking for work in that field. Will I still be able to have that career in ten years? I think so. I believe it's more likely bus and truck drivers will be replaced by robots before I will be.

I agree with the video that most jobs in the future will require more general knowledge and skills than specialization and labor. Most of what someone could need to know would already be available on the internet. Augmented reality could help with directing someone how to perform a task.

Since I don't have a car and can't drive working remotely would be great for me. Maybe I wouldn't be piloting a robot but I think something like consulting would be interesting.

Science, technology evolving and never stagnate, we humans must adapt to this challenging situation. Rest assured that we will get rid of these restrictions imposed by those in power - I think that by the end of this year things will relax in terms of restrictions on the job market. The problem is..., i don't think we'll get rid of those masks in the near future. Since😁 having to wear that mask on my face, i already feel like i'm a bad⚔ ninja👨‍🌾 on a special mission.

I think the future will be vastly different what it is today. If we can get VR/AR then I think we would probably become part of the economy online. We would be able to experience many different parts of the economy through VR/AR.
