My Actifit Report Card: June 10 2021
My Grandfather's love of fruits 😋
My Grandfather loved eating fruits. He would buy a lot of fruits and ask us, the kids, to sit with him and eat fruits.
One of his favourite fruits was Mango. During our summer break we all would visit his house and stay for at least two months.
Grandpa would buy more fruits and would bring crates of mangoes.
He would keep the Mangoes away from our reach and in the afternoon he would put all of the mangoes in a tub of water. He would let them stay there for a few hours.
He would say that Mangoes and all the fruits might have been sprayed pesticides so keeping them in water would help us get rid of any residual chemicals.
After a few hours he would rinse them and sit down to cut them all to feed us. 😋
He has great knowledge about fruits and food. I would often sit with him and eat fruits as he narrated stories from his youth.
