My Actifit Report Card: December 25 2020
Hello everyone! Got up to make coffee early. Then my wife and I opened our gifts to each other. Our breakfast was bacon and homemade sausage along with homemade blueberry/oatmeal scones.
Later we went for a walk around the neighborhood. The weather was unseasonably warm and it was raining, we took a detour to the creek that splits the village to see if there was flooding. By the time we got there the drizzle had stopped and we could take some pictures. The creek was over the bank but not severely.
Got back home and did some chores. Lunch was some leftover Italian sub we split. Then some more chores and housework.
For dinner we first made a strawberry/rhubarb upside down cake. Both of them we had frozen from the summer when we a cousin give us the strawberry and rhubarb from her Dad’s farm.
Dinner was a pork loin we stuffed with an herbed goats cheese and Granny Smith apple which we then tied off. We roasted it atop small potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
I also made a homemade gravy and we had homemade potato rolls. It was delicious!! Well that’s it, thanks for reading!
