My Actifit Report Card: September 30 2020

Another day making more progress on the van camper I fitted the new solar panel, solar charge controller, 12-240 volt inverter plus the house battery. Yep still managed to get in a 12k activity count during the day 👍

This photo you can see in the cabinet I made I have fitted the 12-240 volt inverter (on the left) and the solar charge controller.

This photo is of the old solar panel I had fitted on the van before I left Tasmania. This panel was one I had on my house solar system so is already some 5+ year's old.

This photo is of the new most efficient panel available in Australia as if two day's ago when I bought it. The old panel was rated at 200 watts and this new panel is rated at 375 watts. Almost double the power and only about 10% bigger area. Shows some great progress in solar efficiency over the last few year's.

I like the black frame on the new panel more then the silver of the old one👍.

Thanks mate I am looking forward to getting out traveling etc. So far 2020 has been terrible for traveling with all the covid restrictions.

Yes indeed as it makes it so much easier to get decent power on a small van now👍
