My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2020
I can’t believe I’m writing about a pandemic and fun in the same blog post, but I’ve been known to get whacky before.
So here we are, isolated (if we can) and probably bored and/or lonely. Well, in case you just can’t take it anymore, you can try doing what I did - a “six foot social.”
And yes, it’s just as it sounds. You have a social event and everyone remains six feet apart (unless they are related and living in the same house). Also, there is no hugging, no hand shaking, no pouring one another’s beverage or physical interaction. I washed my hands carefully as people arrived and then I poured the drinks.
Here was my setup before darkness fell.

When everyone arrived the girls tried to stay apart but they are such social people. I may not be hosting this type of event again! It’s too hard for them to be good. But it was truly fun.

I hope you do Facetime or connect with people somehow! It would be really easy to get way too isolated at this time in history.
My ladies Bible study is going to do zoom this coming Tuesday. We did FB live messenger video this past Tuesday, which was so good as we got to see each other. I appreciate the tech we have today, as in days past, it would not have been possible to 'see' each other in times like these. Take care my friend!
We can't meet up with anyone outside the people we live with here in France. We did walk the dogs close to a friends garden and chatted over the fence. We are having a virtual birthday party on messenger later for two friends who live 400metres away but who we can't see.

Yes, we had a really good time last night online for our friends birthday. Wasn't quite like being in the same room but we had a laugh and felt connected. :)
