Hubby and Zoey - Actifit Report: May 11 2020

If you follow my blog, then you know I love nature, the outdoors, and our local trails and parks. We are blessed with some wonderful areas to hike and walk here in Minnesota!

My husband also loves to walk, and sometimes we walk together, sometimes separately. He is more likely to walk on the long regional trail, and I am more likely to go to the nature park where my dog and I can throw sticks and walk all over hill and dale!

Tonight we walked together at the park. Here are a few pictures I captured of our outing. The first is of my husband chucking the ball for Zoey.

Zoey waiting on the trail.

A stick fort someone built in the woods.

And a few pictures of red winged blackbirds.

Thanks for visiting!

Thank you so much for stopping by, @joanstewart! And thank you for the tip! There is nothing like a trip to the park with your dog. 😁

Does she run off? She’s a husky, right? I think I remember hearing that they tend to run off if not on leash!

You had the entire park to yourselves :)

That "stick fort", I'd call a "den" here. People like to build them here too, as I keeps seeing them in the woods.

Oh yes, a den is another name for it. I suppose it depends on what sort of creature might inhabit it, and for what purposes. Now, if it was going to be a lion's home or a man's study, then certainly "den" would be most appropriate. For other creatures, "habitat" would work. If some kids made it as a hide-out, then it's probably a fort. I'll have to sneak back there and see what's living in it, and then report back! :-)
